To support and reach out more small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Philippines, UnionBank inked partnership with Mapfre Insular last August 28, 2019.
To kickstart the partnership, UnionBank held a workshop with Mapfre Insular’s providers to help them go digital and grow global through UnionBank GlobalLinker, a digital platform for SMEs that provide them with tools which they can use for their business and networking needs. And best of all, it’s FREE.

Efren Dancel, UnionBank’s Sales Director for SME Focus Team, gave a walkthrough of the platform to the participants to highlight its features and how useful it can be for their business. He also emphasized how they can enlist their products/services to the ‘Member Offer’ section of the platform for free.
Mapfre Insular’s President and CEO Tirso Abad shared that he is looking forward to connecting and introducing all of their providers to UnionBank GlobalLinker to help their businesses grow.

“We partnered with UnionBank because we have the same advocacy to help SMEs. We want to offer the best platform to our providers and we believe that UnionBank can deliver this,” Kathrine Ramos, Providers Unit Head – Operations Area of Mapfre Insular said when asked about the Mapfre’s partnership with UnionBank GlobalLinker.
