The past few weeks of having ECQ have been a roller coaster ride for our company, Alpha Logistics. We have had a lot of ups and downs because the situation is always changing, plus continuously worrying about the safety and protection of our employees. It’s tough because paying hazard pay to our employees eat a lot of our margin, but our people are worth the sacrifice. We’re employing long-term mindset, not short-term. Things I'm grateful for: 1. We’re an essential business 2. Our service helps feed families 3. We were able to deliver donations for covid-19 frontliners 4. Our employees are loyal 5. Our employees are trustworthy 6. New opportunities after ECQ 7. We can work remotely 8. We’re actually looking to employ 2 new helpers 9. Happy that the families of our employees are not going hungry because we have work 10. All our staff have payroll savings accounts, so salary goes straight to them asap We’re also cooking up something new. We know a lot of people who have lost income, but they have small vehicles that can be used to deliver items for businesses.
