SAN JULIO AGRARIAN REFORM BENEFICIARIES COOPERATIVE

In 1982 the MAPLE EMPLOYEES’ KILUSANG BAYAN FOR CREDIT, INC. (MACKBI) of Sta. Cruz Viejo, Tanjay, Negros Oriental was organized and registered under the Bureau of Cooperatives. It was a close type cooperative catering the credit and consumer needs of the laborers and employees of then MAPLE AGRICULTURAL CORPORATION. In 2002, it was registered with the Cooperative Development Authority with the new name that of SAN JULIO FARMWORKERS’ MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE in preparation for the implementation of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Law (CARL) in Hacienda San Julio. In 2012, the cooperative to comply with the mandate of R.A. 9520, amended the cooperative name to SAN JULIO AGRARIAN REFORM BENEFECIARIES COOPERATIVE (SJARBC) which is into Sugarcane Production Common Service Facility Operation and now Dairy Products.
