Entrepreneurs from Cavite showcased their business products at the #taraCavitetayo Trade Fair and Exhibit last July 15, 2019 at The Ark by UnionBank, Makati City.
These entrepreneurs were given the opportunity to promote their business products after successfully completing BIZ iCREATE - Cavite’s Responsible Entrepreneurs Aiming Toward Economic Sustainability program.

The five-day event was made possible through the guidance of Provincial Cooperative Livelihood and Entrepreneurial Development Office (PCLEDO) under Atty. Khervy Reyes, Officer-in-charge of PCLEDO, in collaboration with Union Bank of the Philippines to support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Cavite.
To welcome entrepreneurs, organizers, and guests, UnionBank SME Initiative Team Lead Mr. Efren Dancel, Dasmariñas-Cavite Business Manager Mr. Alvin Ferrer, and PCLEDO Entrepreneurial Division Head Ms. Liza C. Gabatan were present during the first day of the exhibit.
Aside from showcasing their products, entrepreneurs also had the chance to experience UnionBank’s digital banking service and other business development products such as SME loans, Online Government, and Utilities Payment.

Here’s what some of the entrepreneurs had to say about their digital banking experience.
“Yung experience ko at The Ark encouraged me na mag-join sa ibang Bazaars and Trade Fairs. , Having gained regular patrons here, na-reliaze ko na may potential talaga yung ice creams ko.”

“Nakakatuwa siya kasi high tech. Dati natatakot ako gumamit ng machine, now nasanay na ako. Na try ko na lahat ng payments sa ATM, Fund Transfer, at Over the Counter. Mabilis ang bayaran nakakuha pa ako ng suki dito sa The Ark na nagpa-pa-deliver.”

“Nagamit ko na po yung Gcash. Super convenient. Gusto ko po idagdag ang sa UnionBank para derecho na po sa business account. Ililipat ko na kasi yung funds ko dun unti-unti” (Mayumi Organics had sold P37,000 worth of her products at the Ark.)

Other entrepreneurs who participated in the trade fair are Ms. Ma. Isabel Punzalan of Delfa’s Food Products, Inc.; Ms. Susan Tenorio of Sanlit Spread; and Ms. Gina de Gala of Flowers and Vase Event Styling.
