Staying true to its mission to help self-employed professionals and business owners focus more on their passion & stop worrying about their businesses, pioneering tax filing and payment platform Taxumo has expanded its COVID-19 response with the #ATimeforHOPE campaign—an initiative that assists its community not only through reduced tax subscription rates, but also with tax and business guidance.

The #TimeforHOPE campaign, which stands for Time For Helping Other Professionals and Entrepreneurs, aims to help the many Filipino self-employed professionals and business owners tide over the economic and personal impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on everyone’s financial, physical, and mental well-being.

“During these uncertain times, we at Taxumo believe that helping people goes beyond alleviating the economic burden this pandemic has caused. We must collectively build an environment where we can hope for a better future, as we empower ourselves and our communities toward creating more meaningful work beyond this crisis,” explains EJ Arboleda, CEO of Taxumo.

Professionals and business owners can get up to a maximum of 80% discount from their plans. All they need to do is to share the story of how their business has been impacted by COVID-19 with Taxumo by emailing customercare@taxumo.com or chatting with them via the chat box in their website.

Responding to the impact of the pandemic and the enhanced community quarantine to businesses, the government through the Department of Trade and Industry is preparing a P1-billion Enterprise Rehabilitation Financing facility under the Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso (COVID-19 P3-ERF) which will include the “restart and/or restock of businesses to avoid foreclosure of their business assets”.
