Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are facing never-seen-before challenges due to COVID-19 pandemic; driving them to re-evaluate their branding efforts.

How should they fine-tune their brand strategy while navigating through the new normal? What are the best practices for branding during and after COVID-19? What does branding look like in the new normal?

To address these questions and other concerns on branding, UnionBank GlobalLinker, together with Godmother and Bouncback PH, is introducing Project Guardian, an initiative that aims to provide free brand coaching to MSMEs during the pandemic.

Together, we’ll be able to spread this message of hope and renewal through our brand coaching services which members of the GlobalLinker network can now access for free.

"The right thing to do is to assist people in our own little way," Gen Millare, CEO of Godmother, shared. "A lot has changed in a span of three months and things may never go back to the way they were. But one thing is for certain, people are still hopeful and eager to get up. And it’s in that space where we wanted to do something meaningful for those who are navigating this transition."

"We’ve teamed up with the folks over at UnionBank, and together, we’ll be able to spread this message of hope and renewal through our brand coaching services which members of the GlobalLinker network can now access for free."

Through Project Guardian, industry experts are available to respond on queries of MSMEs related to branding, using their extensive brand and strategy consulting experience in B2B and B2C.

"In the spirit of collaboration, of helping and enabling, we are excited on how our project can help businesses to be more relevant, and gain higher success especially now after we have gone through so much and businesses really need help," UnionBank GlobalLinker lead advocate Jaypee Soliman said.

With this initiative, they hope to help MSMEs bounce back amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Project Guardian will also organize a series of articles and webinars on branding to provide MSMEs necessary tools while navigating through the new normal.
