With its strong commitment to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises in the Philippines, UnionBank GlobalLinker has partnered with 1Export, Kiu, and Acudeen to bring innovative services and push digital transformation to MSMEs.
UnionBank Executive Vice President John Cary Ong, Transaction Banking Head, welcomed the new partners of UnionBank GlobalLinker and shared how the platform was born out of their initiative, UREKA Forum—the Bank’s lead social responsibility project and country’s biggest e-commerce mass conversion program that activated over 1,500 MSMEs into digital commerce.
“We’re very glad that together with other partners we’re getting into this. UnionBank GlobalLinker is important to the digital transformation journey of the country,” says Junie Pama, CEO of Kiu Global – Philippines during the partnership signing held at The Ark by UnionBank on February 20.
A technology company that developed a cloud-based business management platform, Kiu Philippines is helping the underserved market to acquire short term or commercial loans using Kiu Business Management Platform (BMP). SMEs and sari-sari stores can utilize Kiu to automate their business processes, increase transparency, gain trust from banks and other financial institutions for easier access to credit to grow their business to its potential
